Overview - Couch Potato
We call this project "Couch Potato". - Who needs a wheelchair if you have a couch with wheels! Our team is designing a mobile couch using motors and coding from an arduino.Current Project Status:
2/28/2018- We got a new motor controller. Data sheet User Manual Arduino Library and Examples Ion studio download etc.2/14/2018- We are planning to make the mount of the couch and how to attach the motors wires. For the coding we have finished
2/9/2018 - Currently we are coding for the motor controller and joystick with the arduino and designing the frame
1/19/2018 - Kicked off this project. This Robot is based around an electric wheel chair.
Next Steps:
List all the current steps in order of priority. Mark "Pending", "In Progress", "Road Block", "Done"- Test Motors - Done - What need to be done? What do we need?
- Plan frame - Done - Possibly tube stock. Need to talk to Welding teacher and student team
- Motor Controller - Done - Does the motor controller work. so we have Speck or data sheet for it.
- Build frame - Done - asking welding team to help us create our design
- Final frame - In Progress - We made the design of the frame and now waiting for the welding team to finish welding the frame
- Code testing - In Progress - we are testing our code on an RC car and see if the code is working right.
- Drawing out a plate - Done - we are drawing a plate that we can screw and weld to connect the motor to the frame.
Mechanical Configuration:
This section describes the Physical / Mechanical configuration of the platform... How does it work from a hardware point of view.Sensor Package:
This section describes the Sensor configuration of the platform... What sensors are used and how do they work. List them.<add your description here>
